Samanyolu Broadcasting Group General Manager Hidayet Karaca, who has been in prison more than a year, has been arrested for a second time as part of so called “parallel structure” investigation.
Karaca, arrested on charges of attempting to overthrow the government by force and violating constitution.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the “parallel structure” in early 2015 and many Hizmet sympathizers have been accused of membership in a terrorist organization and arrested, despite the absence of any solid evidence.
