Court Ruled Against the Monopoly on Publication of “Risale”

For the first time in history risale-i-nur-kulliyatiTurkish single-party government AKP ( Justice and Development Party) adopted a law that established a publishing monopoly of the “Risale-i Nur” collection. The “Risale-i Nur” collection is a tafsir  of the Holy Book Quran that explains the truths of faith in accordance with the modern science. To create pressure and political leverage on  religions communities in Turkey government who possessed parliamentarian  monopoly in Turkey adopted the law that contradicted with Turkey’s constitution. Due to petition initiated by the Republican People’s Party (CHP)  to the Constitutional Court last year for the revocation of the controversial law that infringed property rights and the right of artistic expression.
