Fethullah Gulen and the Gulen Movement

 My name is Wendi Amin and I think that this experience has spoken to the heart, and the hearth speaks an ethereal language which is difficult to express in words, but I am going to try. I felt very called to come on this trip, and I have felt very nurtured and enriched by it through the people we have travelled with and the people that we have met. When to began I was very impatient to get answers to many questions, but as the trip proceeded the answers came, and I realized the answers couldn’t have come in words, they could have only come through the journey and through the experience. Of the Gulen movement I have been very impressed by their earnestness, their dedication, their selflessness, their love of humanity and their love of God. I believe that there are as many paths to God, to truth, as there are people that have ever lived in world, ever lived on this planet, but I believe that there is only one light that shines on all of those paths. When I encounter other people that are travelling on their path shining in their light, in the light that shines on all of us, I am able to see my light more brightly and I felt so blessed to be in the presence of so many people walking on their path in their light. I feel truly enriched to have been on this experience through my exposure to the Gulen movement and to all of you, and so I thank all of you for this very overwhelming experience, and making it such an incredibly important and valuable part of my life…
