Fethullah Gulen and the Gulen Movement

 Hello! I am Stream Tomas Ohrstrom, and I am here as the representative of OneCircle Center. I am also with the United Religions Initiative and with the Sufi Order of the West. What has impressed me here is how incredibly generous the people of Turkey are, especially as that is expressed through the Gulen community. I am impressed by the country of Turkey: the landscape, the ancient places in the sense of history that pervades the country. … We were able to walk into the Agean Sea; we have seen Roman roots; we have seen Seljuk artifacts, buildings and Ottoman beauties; and it is overwhelming how much there is to appreciate in this country: the people, the places, and the culture. I also have this feeling that, there is the word what we the Sufis call “baraqah” associated with this trip and this organization that is a blessing that transcends the material, that we have encountered things here that are going to affect our lives deeply; and I am very very grateful to the Rumi foundation, and to Ali and to all the people that have made it possible. Thank you so much!
