Gerda Keiswetter sharing her thoughts about the RumiForum trip to Turkey:

I am Gerda Keiswetter. I am largely here because of my husband who teaches at one of the Defense Universities in the United States. I am a teacher. I have taught little children, and currently I am working as a travel agent. I have lived in a lot of Arab countries over ten years. We studied Arabic for two years, and I am glad to see this very liberal, or liberal but non-extremist view of Islam, and to see it married with much more European culture is very interesting. I have enjoyed the trip thoroughly. I loved seeing the sites and I would take back a lot of information for my clients travelling to Turkey as well. Our group has been a very thoughtful group, a very interesting group. We have met wonderful people. I really feel like the world is; I have seen another part of the world that I love very much. Thank you so much for the opportunity and meeting with you and having this wonderful week together!
