Fethullah Gulen and the Gulen Movement

 My name is Eleonora Karamyants. I work at the Institute on Religion and Public Policy in Washington, DC. First of all I would like to take this opportunity to thank publicly the Rumi Forum for the amazing hospitality and making this trip a unique experience for all of us and for myself, and I would like to thank Ali, definitely all the staff, Jena, Gulsen is not here, but Zafer, without everybody you guys were absolutely amazing. Thank you very much! As for the trip, for me it was a major eye opening experience, because what the resources that are available in the United States about Turkey are sometimes, umm, it is really a pale account of what the history, the culture, the religion, the spiritual awareness of the country really are on the ground, and I am very thankful for being able to learn more about the history, the culture, the interfaith, and intercultural initiatives by the Gulen movement, which is an amazing success story, I think, already. I wish all the best of luck in advancing your mission, and spreading the message across the world. Thank you!
