Brooke Cashman at Georgetown University sharing her thoughts about the RumiForum trip to Turkey

Well I echo the sentiments of many of my friends here when I say that for me the most meaningful part of this trip has been the access to interact with people here. I have wanted to come to Turkey for very long time and I have got many of the fullest experiences that I wouldn’t have been able to do if I have come by myself. I’d never have been able to meet the type of people that I met and have the type of personal interactions that we did, and I thank for every one of our hosts for being very gracious with their time and their thoughts and sharing. I am also grateful to my friends for sharing as well. I have learned so much from all of you to speak, and I am very appreciative of that, and um, I will miss you all very much, and um, I learned a lot, and I will continue to learn as I have many things to reflect on from this trip. When I go back and share my experiences and to think about all, I know I will continue to gain from this trip and I am very grateful for that.
