Fethullah Gulen Tolerance, Dialogue and Peace
Turkey is having a hard time with the radical decision of the government about terminating the operations of private prep schools in the country. I personally believe that a government should of course can apply regulations on any market however shutting down educational institutions does not make sense at all.
Moreover, it is well known in Turkey that many private educational institutions are run by people who are inspired by Fethullah Gulen. So, such a decision also was a nationwide big shock because they have been doing extremely well not only as a supplement to coursework but also in solving social problems in their neighborhood by giving free service as well.
To calm down the nationwide anger to government, Fethullah Gülen appealed for steadfastness against ban on prep schools.
