In what was a historic talk, President of the Rumi Forum Mr. Emre Celik, spoke to the State Members of the Delaware Legislature. Rumi forum is the oldest intercultural dialogue organization founded by Americans of Turkish background.
Mr. Celik During his talk referred to the motivation by Fethullah Gulen, Rumi Forum’s Honorary President has provided to numerous NGOs and community based organizations around the globe, referring to Mr. Fethullah Gulen’s ideas as a means for instilling positive interaction between all peoples. The occasion was planned by Michael Ramone, Member of the State Delaware Legislative and the Rumi Forum’s Delaware Chapter. Also, Delaware Legislative Member John Kowalko mentioned his admiration for the efforts of the Rumi Forum in providing various intercultural events both in Delaware and in the Washington, DC region.
