Turkish Scholar Fethullah Gulen is Praised by Al-Azhar Professor Al-Bari

Well-known professor of Egyptian al-Azhar University Sayyid Abd al-Bari in an exclusive interview with Today’s Zaman newspaper praised Fethullah Gulen for his stance against terrorism. Speaking about Gulen’s article published in French magazine Le Monde on December 17 where Gulen listed possible methods to fight against terrorism, al-Bari said “Gülen courageously stands against the groups who use the name of Islam in their barbaric attacks.” According to Al-Bari, Fethullah Gulen is a prominent Islamic scholar who always tried to do his best to promote high values and norms of Islam and rejects all false interpretations of Islam.
