Masum Türker Criticized Controversial Decisions of the National Security Council of Turkey

masum-turkerChairman of Democratic Left Party (DSP) criticized controversial decisions of the National Security Council of Turkey (MGK) regarding the Hizmet (Gulen) Movement. Masum Türker stated that controversial decisions made by the National Security Council (MGK) to curb the activities of the movement had been criticized and rejected by the former Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit.
“Mr. Bülent Ecevit chose not to sign [into law] the decisions made by the MGK on the grounds that [the decisions] limited freedoms, but Mr. Erdoğan signed them.” Mr. Turker, the chairman of DSP, said on a rally talk in the city of Denizli.
