Istanbul Municipality covers ads of Fatih College with black tarps

The lawyer of the Gulen-inspired Fatih College Nejdet Solmazgul informed that he had filed criminal complaints against Istanbul Municipality and advertisement company Stroer Reklamcilik. He explained that the school administration rented ad space on billboards in various districts of Istanbul between September 5 and 15; however, it was noticed that the municipality decided to cover these ads with black tarps. The college also issued a written official statement regarding previous discriminatory practices it suffered from Istanbul Municipality. Fatih College was not the only Hizmet-affiliated institution being harmed by the municipality. Earlier this year several other schools received unfair treatment.
