In his latest speech broadcasted on the website herkul.org, Turkish scholar Fethullah Gulen, vowed that Hizmet movement, which is established by the followers of his ideas, will continue its mission regardless massive attacks and assaults by the Erdogan’s government. The speck titled “Düşen Maskeler ve Karakuşî Kararları” (“Fallen Masks and Nonsense, Unlawful Rulings”) was broadcasted on Sunday. In his speech Fethullah Gulen encouraged his followers to accept the difficult times that Hizmet movement goes through as the divine test, the difficulty of which increases in proportion with person’s depth of belief. Gulen stated that during these hard times his followers could see real faces of people who once praised Hizmet activities but later turned their backs on the movement just in return for some financial benefits. Gulen also denied that he or his followers belong to any kind of “parallel structure”, the term widely used by Erdogan to describe Hizmet movement. “There is no such thing as a parallel state, and I said may God damn whoever is parallel.
