Fethullah Gulen Tolerance, Dialogue and Peace
Respected Turkish Muslim scholar Fethullah Gulen has issued a message for a conference he was invited to attend but could not do so due to his health condition. The theme of the conference is diversity andcohesion in the increasingly globalized world, which has been a major point in Gulen Movement’s activities. The conference aims to discuss the contributions of Gulen Movement to this diversity. In his message to the organizers and attendees, Fethullah Gulen stressed the fact that diversity is a major reality in human life and more importantly a manifestation of God’s will. In that sense, diversity is inevitable and must be managed well to serve humanity as a whole. Diversifying our communities, public and even private spheres means to accept that there is many correct and different ways to approach ‘things.’
