Some private schools established by the followers of Fethullah Gulen ideas have been discriminated by the government. Earlier it was reported that the government was going to provide financial aid to students of some schools. The financial aid was to be in the amount between 2550 and 3550 Turkish Liras per student. Later it turned out that Hizmet affiliated schools were excluded from the government’s list of financial aid recipients. When serving as Prime Minister, Erdogan often discouraged students from enrolling into Gulen-inspired schools, and now the aggressive politics against the school is still continued.
