Niyazi Mutlu Şendur, the Manisa branch head of Bank Asya, was arrested on Wednesday.
According to reports, Şendur was detained earlier the same day on charges of “attempting to change the constitutional order,” and “forming and being a member of an armed terrorist organization”
Thirty people have been arrested in total as part of operations carried out against the followers of the Gülen movement in Manisa province since June. The number of those arrested has risen to 23 after Şendur was arrested on Wednesday.
